From this April to next July, Puçol organizes activities focused on heritage, aimed at groups in Elche at risk of social exclusion.

After the success achieved -for the benefit of the participants- with the Puçol Acoge project, developed during 2022 with the migrant users of the Elche Acoge Foundation (which had the support of the "la Caixa" Foundation), the technicians of the The School Museum decided to apply the same methodology and common thread to other groups at risk of social exclusion in the municipality, always making use of the heritage.

The project is called "The creation of sustainable communities: the Puçol School Museum and heritage" and focuses its efforts on disseminating the culture of our municipality in an eminently practical way, based on its own heritage, among people at risk of social exclusion. The Puçol Project will organize guided tours and workshops on local crafts and traditional games with Elche associations such as AITEAL, AFAE or APAEX.

This initiative has been possible thanks to the support of the Fundación Juan Perán - Pikolinos, an entity from Elche that always collaborates in projects of this nature.
