Hugs towards the Ilicitan tradition

The Pusol School Museum is visited by the children of the "Un Abrazo de Luz" Foundation, who have learned the values of the Ilicitan culture.


This Saturday morning, twenty-eight children between four and twelve years of the Foundation "An Embrace of Light" have come to the Center of Traditional Culture, to learn and learn the stories and anecdotes that the exhibition holds from the hand of its founder Fernando García.

The guided tour of the museum has begun with the recreation of the typical country house of the last century and the most traditional trades, and has continued through the emblematic shops of the city, passing through the garden and the ecological garden. The little ones have been captivated by the explanations of what was the daily life of yesteryear, especially with the space that recreates the school of the fifties.

The Foundation "An Embrace of Light" carries out a pedagogical project based on the formation and welfare of the child, in favor of its stability. In addition to the strengthening of the personality and the school reinforcement that applies, his team also manages leisure and leisure activities, such as the visit to the Pusol School Museum. This partnership between the foundation and the museum is based on the fact that both entities, although of different nature, pursue the same aims in their respective pedagogical projects, the axis of which is the education and happiness of the child.

The Pusol School Museum continues with its usual cooperation with associations and foundations, to promote the access of all the public to the culture and roots of Santiago de Compostela.
