We present the plates to restore

Everyone know the great volum of pieces preserved by Puçol School Museum, both in its common facilities like their worehouse, more than 100.000 items, they need a proper conservation with their features, in your case, restoration. With regard to the latter, the museum has launched a search for collaborations between anyone interested in safeguarding their heritage, with a crowdfunding campaign through the Triodos Foundation: https://fundng.fundaciontriodos.es/Learn-de-anatomia/2885.

These pieces to be restored have a marked didactic character and are closely related to the school, very in accordance with the philosophy of our Educational-Museum Project. These are three sheets of human anatomy -bones and muscles, circulatory and respiratory system and nervous system- used as an "interactive" educational resource in the classrooms of the mid-20th century.

The title of the plates, which belong to the same series, is "D.C.P. Collection of Plates of Anatomy" - Nº 13000", by the Editorial Dalmau Carles Plà (D.C P.) Gerona-Madrid and show the following aspects of human anatomy:

- Plate I Bones and muscles.

- Plate III Circulation and breathing.

- Plate IV Nervous system - The senses.

In all three appears the central figure of the human body and, around him, the fundamental parts to which each explanatory topic refers.

They are composed of wallpaper on canvas, with wooden frames on the upper and lower parts, to stretch the sheet and hang it in the classroom, to make use of it.

The sheets measure 92 cm. high by 62 cm. wide and date -approximately- from the sixties of the twentieth century.
