In the development of the warehouses -in which, in this first phase, we are focusing on updating the inventory of framed paintings and book collections-, we are appearing pieces that, at the time and for whatever reasons, went unnoticed...

Last week, while the Project Pusol team were working in the warehouse "Arnedo", we opened a very well packaged and preserved cardboard box that housed a small treasure: a wonderful collection of children’s stories. This is the second edition, dated 1960, of "The World of Children", a set of fifteen volumes of the Salvat publishing house that covers different themes: from poems, stories and games to explanations about art, science, music, animals and plants, history, sacred history... Each of the volumes focuses on one or the other topic and the cover goes according to it. For example, in the volume dedicated to games appear three children/ as playing the "blind chicken"; or in the book of folk tales, which illustrates it with a drawing of the fable "The fox and the stork". The last three volumes are dedicated to parents, around the themes of the family, the education of children/as and boy and girl in the world today.

Enchanted by this find, this children’s collection, with exquisite drawings of "sixtieth" aesthetics and a beautiful and delicate orange binding, changes location and becomes part of the old school library, located in the School Museum of Pusol.
