Among the pieces pending restoration are three sheets of human anatomy of great patrimonial value, used as a didactic resource in the classrooms of the mid-twentieth century. Their state of preservation makes it impossible to show them to the public. Our goal is to restore them and expose them in the space dedicated to the school, so you can enjoy them during your visit!
From the Pusol Project we are looking for funds that allow us to carry out the restoration of pieces as iconic and consistent with its philosophy as those that star in this campaign. These are three plates of human anatomy from the Editorial Dalmau Carles Plà (D.C P.), used as a didactic resource in the classrooms of the mid-20th century.
This search for external collaboration will allow the Project not only to make this restoration -which will be executed by a team with more than 25 years of experience-, but also to initiate a series of projects based on the care of unique pieces. We intend that this crowdfunding, called "We learn from anatomy", be the first of many.
May is a very special month for us/s, since the 18th is the International Museum Day. Our intention is to start this project this month, taking advantage of the date, and seek collaborations for 40 days (from May 17 to June 26), after which, the restorers will move the three sheets to their workshop and begin work. The restoration process will last approximately 30 days, after which the Pusol team will exhibit the plates in the reproduction of the school of the fifties; they will occupy this space, at least, during the summer months.
