The activities to be carried out within the framework of this agreement are aimed at minors, young people and adult migrants, as well as indigenous people of the city of Elche.

The Elche Acoge Foundation and the Pusol School Museum close a collaboration agreement for the development of cultural and educational activities and initiatives aimed at children/children, indigenous and migrant youth and adults of the city of Elche in order to enhance the cultural and historical heritage of the city and to promote the creation of spaces where there is a climate of intercultural coexistence.

The signing of the agreement between the two entities is a further step towards promoting tools for the development of spaces where the "encounter between cultures" takes place, and thus promoting knowledge of the history and traditions of the city of Elche, but also the culture of the migrant population, thus generating exchange and knowledge between both populations.

The beginning of the activities already began during the inauguration of the Summer School of the Fundación de Elche Acoge, with the program of the visit to the Pusol School Museum, and in which children and young people of the Foundation had the pleasure of enjoying a cultural and educational day in the Museum. This was the first approach for the development of the collaboration project.

These types of initiatives, where culture and history are protagonists, are not only presented as a tool for the management of the cultural diversity of the city and as an engine of community development, but as an effective resource for the social revitalization of Elche and as an enabler of lifestyles where respect, tolerance and solidarity are priority values.
