The Pusol Project publishes a new book on good practices in heritage management

 


Thanks to a grant from the Provincial Council of Alicante, the Pusol Project team publishes the minutes of the World Heritage Meeting, held in Elche in October 2019


In 2019, on the occasion of the tenth anniversary of the UNESCO recognition of the Puçol Educational-Museum Project, a World Heritage Meeting was organized, which covered the theme of good practices in heritage management; This Meeting was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Culture and Sports and the Institute of Intangible Cultural Heritage, as well as all the Valencian and the other two Spanish heritages included in the UNESCO Register of Good Practices.


Two years later and roughly coinciding with the date of the twelfth anniversary (last October 1), the Pusol Project publishes the book of minutes of this Meeting. “Good Practices in heritage management. Proceedings of the World Heritage Meeting. Elche 2019” collects the interventions of the speakers, who spoke about the safeguarding and management of their respective heritage -heritage they represented-, about the same Convention for the safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage and the National Cultural Heritage Plans .


This publication continues the line started by the Pusol Project in 2019, when the “PoEM. Puçol Educational-Museum Project”. On this occasion, the volume of minutes has been published thanks to a grant from the Hon. Provincial Council of Alicante. With the allocation of €3,469.05 from the grant for this annuity intended for non-profit entities in the province to carry out cultural activities, the technical team of the School Museum has been able to edit, design and print (with the company Abece Artes Graphics) this new book.
