The illustrated magazine in the thematic showcase of Puçol

A new theme occupies the temporary showcase of the Puçol School Museum, this time the appearance of the new illustrated magazine.

At the end of the 19th century, a great change in written newsreels took place. The new magazines offered information different from that of the usual newspapers, they complemented the content with articles on fashion, sports, politics, show reviews, current affairs... The objective of these publications was to emphasize the literary content with the image. "New World", "Graphic World" or "Black and White" are some of these magazines that opted for image, photography, comic vignette..., as well as for literary creation and short stories.

Some of these publications are exhibited in the Puçol showcase, with covers and interiors, to appreciate those changes that occurred in the press at the end of the 19th century.
