"Pusol Acoge" continues with traditional games and craft workshops

In the third activity of the project "Pusol Acoge", children of Elche Acoge have enjoyed recreational activities linked to traditional culture

Every year at this time, the Elche Acoge Foundation organizes the Spring Camp, intended for children who are on school holidays during the Holy Week period. This time, one of the camp’s activities has been linked to "Pusol Acoge".

This project of interculturality -promoted by Fundación "la Caixa"- focuses on organizing a thematic activity per month, aimed at the members of Elche Acoge. The first was based on visiting the Pusol School Museum and its surroundings; and the second was the braiding workshops of natural fibers. The one in April (third activity), given that the participants were going to be younger -mostly- has been organized around playful workshops and crafts.

During the day, more than 45 members of Elche Acoge have enjoyed traditional games (tabas, cards, tello, tanganillo), crafts (masks and cutouts), the workshop of natural air fresheners and have been able to model their own mini botijo.
