In its constant commitment to the conservation and safeguarding of our heritage -and, therefore, for its dissemination-, the Puçol School Museum once again resumes guided tours aimed at students from schools in Elche and surroundings.

In these visits, where the museum guides are always accompanied by schoolchildren from Puçol -who also act as guides-, the traditional country house is toured, the most emblematic works of the Camp d'Elx are explained and the for the shops of the city. A visit that supposes a trip to the past, but always taking into account the present and the future: to understand the life of our ancestors and ancestors to get to know each other better and thus seek a better future for everyone.

To these visits are added the workshops-experiences, which bring the students closer to the knowledge acquired during the visit in a very practical way. Braiding white palm, playing traditional games or modeling a jug are just some of these activities that year after year accumulate so much success among the young public. As a great novelty of this course, Puçol offers the white palm workshop in the school itself, that is, members of the museum would travel to schools to teach students how to weave palm.

The 2021-2022 academic year has been good in terms of visits from schools and institutes to the Puçol School Museum; The levels of 2019 have not been reached, but the crisis of visits derived from the pandemic has been largely overcome. For this reason, from the museum they begin the new course with renewed energy, optimistic, putting all their efforts into promoting the visit to Puçol among the centers of Elche and surroundings.
