In the new showcase dedicated to El Setiet for its 30 years of existence, the cinema and the articles in this newsletter related to the subject occupy the leading place.

Hundreds of donations related to this mythical place of leisure have arrived at the Puçol School Museum through different channels, especially when the best-known cinemas began to close their doors. Thus, the Gran Teatro, the Capitol, the Alcázar, the Altamira or the Pomares de La Hoya, donated to us from hand programs and movie posters to the projectors themselves, including usher uniforms and tickets.

The Setiet, as an indissoluble part of the museum, has also dedicated several of its numbers to the importance of cinema at a time when there were no smartphones to entertain us with, no Internet or platforms like Netflix; when not even television was a reality in 100% of Spanish homes.

The showcase "Elche and the cinema" can be visited until the end of June.
