On Sunday, June 25, a meeting of esparto braiders from Camp d'Elx, l'Alacantí (Espart Alacant collective) and Bajo Segura (Cuevas del Rodeo de Rojales) took place at the Puçol School Museum. José Alfonso Mansanet, considered one of the best esparto artisans and author of the book El esparto, its techniques and its culture, recently published, was also present.

Everyone enjoyed a fun day, in which the recovery of an ancestral tradition characteristic of the Camp d'Elx was advocated. The public that came to the museum was able to get to know this activity first hand, which was also used to taste local products, such as various types of coca and figs.
