More than 250 people visit the Pusol School Museum and its new exhibition on Tourism Day

Travel Agency Pusol. The beginnings of Tourism" received at its inauguration of the day yesterday more than two hundred and fifty visitors


The World Tourism Day of this year has been dedicated to accessibility, hence they were invited to the School Museum of Pusol, thanks to the buses that Visit Elche arranged during the morning, about two hundred fifty people who present some disability. The transfer was made in two shifts, at 10 and 11:30, being the first of them the participant of the inauguration of "Pusol Travel Agency. The Beginnings of Tourism", together with the team of the Pusol School and some of its older students.

The inauguration took place at 10:30 hours, an act that was delivered by the Director of the project Fernando García and the Councillor for Tourism Mireia Mollà. The visitors gathered around the building to attend their words about how privileged we are the Ilicitanos by adding Three Patrimonies of Humanity. He added the historical relevance of the Pusol School Museum to the society of Elche, emphasizing that the City Council must fight for its survival.

After her speech, Mireia Mollà visited the facilities of the center together with the Coordinator of Visit Elche Pilar Maciá, accompanied at all times by Fernando García.

All attendees enjoyed a trip to the past along the tour of the Museum, including the detailed explanation given about the history of the new exhibition dedicated to the years of the tourist boom in the city of Elche.

The visit concluded with the tasting of Granada Mollar slush that A.D.R. (Associació per al desenvolupament rural del camp d'Elx) offered at the entrance of the Museum, a success for the participants.
