The Pusol School Museum celebrates the seventh anniversary of the Declaration as a World Heritage Site

The event will begin at 11:30 hours on Saturday, October 1 and families from the villages of Elche will attend thanks to A.D.R. and Escoles del Camp d'Elx.

On 1 October 2009, the Center for Traditional Culture Pusol School Museum was included in the UNESCO Register of Good Practices, for its work in safeguarding the Cultural and Intangible Heritage. This Saturday, to commemorate the seven years of the Pedagogical Project as a World Heritage Site, an open day will be held from 11 to 14 hours.

The anniversary event will take place at 11:30 am and will be chaired by the Director of the Fernando García Fontanet Museum.

The Associació per al Desenvolupament Rural del camp d'Elx did not want to miss this emblematic date and, together with Escoles del Camp d'Elx and the Museum itself, organized a morning dedicated to the families of the Ilicitan villages. During these days, the country schools will dedicate their classes to traditional culture and will award two family outings among the best jobs. A.D.R. will pick up these children and their families on Saturday morning in a bus that will take them to the Pusol School Museum, where the winning works will be exhibited. Families will enjoy a typical lunch, visit the Museum together with a guide, attend the official anniversary event and participate in the draw for a family pass to visit Elche Safari River.
